Stepping down from the open-plan kitchen and dining area, this sunken lounge creates an intimate “conversation well” at the centre of the house. Anchored by a sculptural fluted-tile fireplace and surrounded by custom U-shaped seating, the space encourages the family to gather, relax, and linger. Warm autumn-hued terrazzo steps, a vibrant orange rug, and layered cushions add texture and comfort, making the lounge both visually striking and deeply inviting. Here, design and domestic life converge, creating a space where daily routines and lasting memories unfold.
