Sofitel Darling Harbour – The Creation of a Chic, Modern, Exquisitely Refined Space

The Sofitel Darling Harbour is a striking edifice, with a glassed façade and triangular lines glistening with a thousand lights.

In 2017, Improvision Design was selected to complete detailed bar finishes complimented by banquette seating for the chic, modern design of Sofitel Darling Harbour’s Champagne Bar and the exquisitely refined space of the Esprit Noir Bar.

UNRESTRAINED LUXURY FOR SYDNEY’S PRIME CHAMPAGNE BAR

ESPRIT NOIR BAR – REFINED AMBIANCE OFFERS AN INVITATION TO RELAX AND INDULGE

Complimenting the Champagne Bar, the Esprit Noir Bar is located in the Sofitel Darling Harbour’s ground floor lobby. The bar is described as the place for stimulating conversations, micro-meetings, or simply sitting back and relishing the refined atmosphere.

Weathered timber floors recall the wharves and warehouses which once defined Darling Harbour. Improvision Design crafted plush leather furniture inviting guests to relax and indulge.

The project included the installation of three semicircle banquette lounges with tapered backs. The seating design enhances the height and generous proportions of the space whilst simultaneously softening the glass panels and providing a sense of seclusion.

Two generously covered structural pillars with detailed stitching provide a focal point for the bar heightening the sense of luxury and completing the refined ambiance of the space.
